At Amanda Yurko LCPC, Prof. LLC, I am committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. My goal is to ensure that everyone can access information about my counseling services with dignity and ease. I am working to make my site www.amandayurkotherapy.com accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

This website is intended to support the accessibility principles outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AAWCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve accessibility issues where possible

  • Set the language of the site 

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Providing alternative text for meaningful images

  • Implemented color contrast that supports readability

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

  • Used descriptive link text whenever possible

  • Striving to make content accessible using keyboard navigation and compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, to the extent supported by the Wix platform
